Race Day Information & Schedule
Race Packet Pick Up
Runners may pick up race packets either Friday, May 20th, 3-6pm in the Elementary School Gym, or the morning of the event from 7:45-8:15am in the Elementary School Bus Parking Lot. We highly encourage participants to pick up their packets prior to race morning to ensure the race starts on time.
Rules
*No locker facilities. Come dressed to run!
*No dogs/pets (for runners safety)
*Unregistered runners are not allowed to participate in either event
*Baby joggers will be allowed, but for runners safety they will start behind all the runners.
*The use of personal music devices is allowed during the run. We ask that participants closely monitor your volume and be aware of other runners to ensure safety at all times.
*Sorry, No refund. All sales are final.
**In case of sever weather, a Skylert message will be sent out.
Parking
The parking lot on the north side (bus lot) of Delano elementary School will be the race starting point, so it will not be open for parking. Please park int he regular school parking lot or west and south lots will also be available. Carpooling with your runner or walker friends is always a great option! Don't arrive too late.
Schedule-1 Mile Cub Dash

1 Mile Race Begins: 8:30 am
*We have planned this event so parents who wish to participate in the 5K and 1 mile Cub Dash may do so. The 5K will start approximately 30 minutes after the start of the 1 mile run.
**Parents that choose not to participate in the 1 mile Cub Dash are welcome to watch and cheer on their young athletes as they run the 1 mile course. We also ask that you escort your children to the start line and wait for them at the finish line.

Post-Race
Stay for snacks and prizes after your race!
After completing the race each runner may turn in the perforated portion of thier bib number for a post-race snack bag and beverage. In addition, by turning in their bib number each runner willl also be automatically entered into a random drawing for a chance to win a prize. Once all of the participating runners have completed the 5K race, we will conduct a random drawing of all the eligible entries received. Must be present to win.
